Interview translation:

You'll be lost in admiration for Namie Amuro, with her beautiful soft skin and a dress that speaks of spring.

"I want to try wearing colorful clothes this spring. Although, I'm having fun with today's photoshoot, some people might be surprised if I wore these clothes outside of work. They'd think, "What kind of celebrity is she supposed to be?" *laughter*"

Namie is currently in the middle of her all-Japan arena tour "namie amuro BEST FICTION TOUR 2008-2009."

"This tour is for "BEST FICTION" and I took a chance and removed all of my old songs. Speaking of that, someone I know asked me to get them a ticket, but my manager said there were none left... *laughs* I can't even get tickets to my own tour!"

She's also having fun with her limited-time only blog and putting up new photos. In it, she shows the jupiter necklace she received from the model, Rinka.

"Someone who saw the picture in the blog mentioned it to Rinka."

From the blog, you can also see that Namie's having fun going to different onsen (hot springs) and shopping at various place around the country while on tour.

"The shopping is so much cheaper outside of Tokyo. I'm surprised more people don't know that. And, also, recently a lot of people have been telling me "You look like Namie Amuro". This one time I went out with the make-up from work, without my sunglasses and cap, just went to a normal restaurant and this guy who passed by did a double-take but didn't seem to think it was really me. *laughs* If it was only no-makeup it would be okay, but to have it said "What would it take to make her into Namie Amuro?", that got me a little down. *laughs*"

With "BEST FICTION" selling 1.6 million units, it's been an productive 2008 for Namie.

"Work was very fulfilling. If my private life can go as well, that'd be nice. *laughs* Well, it seems, generally, if one goes well, the other doesn't. But, just give it time... *laughs* For 2009, the current tour goes through about May, after that I'd like to put out (a) single and also get to working on a new original album. In terms of music, since 2008 felt like the ending point of something, I'd like to try a different approach now."
